Vive le Bob Nationals!
bob race flyer So, perhaps Paso for Dinner won't happen Saturday night afterall, as it's also the night of the Bob Nationals Pre-Race Party.

I borrowed this information from the Bob Site. They also make the great Sport Utility Stroller, for all you non-biking mommies out there.

Pre-RACE Party

  • April 7th at BOB Headquarters
  • We'll have a carnitas taco bar, locally brewed beer, fire by SOJOE.com, bike SUMO wrestling, classic BOB videos, poker and live music.
  • What more could you possibly want?
  • All attendees are encouraged to show up by bike!
  • 7pm til sunrise

The RACE:
What is it? Halloween meets Mardi Gras...on wheels...and then you race.

  • Free! ( but you gotta sign a waiver of liability)
  • 4 laps on the SLO Criterium Course (see map)
  • show up by 2pm at the staging area for photos and judging
  • Race @ 2:45 sharp
  • There's great array of Prizes for:
    • Most Creative Cargo
    • Most stunning Transvestite
    • Oldest
    • Youngest
    • Hippest
    • First place
    • Last place
    • Best contraption
      most tragic etc.
  • Awards ceremony back at the staging area immediately following the race!
