A New Twist for Old Traditions

okay, so i'm a bit waspy wrapped up in my mexican heritage, whatever. all i know is, i've never celebrated passover, i've never had a seder dinner, and i didn't know that matzoh balls could dance and sing (this i learned on the passover web site sent in by queen judiqua). add to that, if i'm going to be real with myself i must admit that there's not a lot of likelihood that i will be doing all that preparation work in order to have a nice little psuedo (jewdo?) jewish dinner tomorrow night.

i was lementing all this to my friend and coworker wyeth, THE pun king of the western hemisphere.

"wyeth," i said, "i wish there was a seder dinner i could go to tomorrow. i wish i had some nice jewish friends who would invite me over for passover. that way, i don't have to do the work and i can still enjoy the holiday."

"well," says wyeth, "you could always have dinner in north county, in paso robles. and then you could go to Paso for Dinner."

heh. lightbulb. bolt of lightening. angels coming down from the heavens singing in beautiful harmony.

that wyeth, so smart and resourceful.

i immediately got on the phone.

we don't know the exact restaurant we'll be going to, but i've enlisted at least five others to join me for Paso for Dinner. i'm so excited!
