i have little clara bones curled up on my lap right now. i put out extra cat food, in hopes that she does not decide to sit on my face at 4:30 in the morning. her way of letting me know it's the feline feeding hour.

okay, i'm this close to changing clara's name to "pica." i bring her food and she lets it sit and the she starts to lick the wall paint, rocks in my little desk fountain, and the dirt in my potted plants.
